Library Rules & Expectations

Our library has clear rules & expectations that align with CHAMPS. Each activity has a CHAMPS guide to direct students to follow the rules and expectations.

A common Communication requirement in these expectations is a voice level of "0," "1," "2," or  depending on the activity.

Another common requirement in asking for Help is to raise your hand.

An important Activity in the library is checking out books. We always use a shelf marker.

In the library, our Movement is to always walk and sit safely.

There are ways many for students to Participate, including listening to a story, engage in a lesson, or read independently. They will all be Successful if they follow the CHAMPS expectations that are reviewed before each activity.
