Welcome to Borman Elementary
-
Opened in 1970, Borman Elementary is named for Frank Borman, a NASA astronaut and commander of the Apollo 8 spacecraft. Borman Elementary serves students in the Denton High School attendance zone.
Borman is an International Baccalaureate World School, offering the Primary Years Programme, providing students with a strong academic base that focuses on the development of a child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and the world outside. The school also functions as a dual-language campus to produce bilingual and biliterate students.
As part of the $1.4 billion bond referendum that was overwhelmingly approved by district voters in 2023, Borman Elementary will soon have a replacement campus built.
