Denton Independent School District campuses will operate on end-of-the-year schedules during the final week of school and have Monday, May 30, off in observance of Memorial Day.
Denton ISD’s three comprehensive high schools – Denton, Guyer and Ryan – will hold graduation ceremonies on Friday, June 3, while the district’s alternative education high school, Fred Moore, will hold its graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 1.

Denton High School’s orchestra will host an awareness concert at the Linda McNatt Animal Shelter from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, in support of the shelter’s pet adoption program.
Following a critically acclaimed performance at the National Percussion Festival in March, several Denton High School percussion students have been honored for their skills and achieved several first-time honors for Denton ISD.
Registration for Denton ISD’s summer school program for high school students is now open and lasts until June 8, offering students the ability to earn course credits for advancement or retrieval.
