Virginia Gallian Child Development Center was developed in 2009 to meet the child care needs of the employees of Denton ISD. The program was opened to community partners employees (City and County of Denton, TWU Students and Faculty, UNT Students and Faculty, and NCTC Students and Faculty) in 2011.

Offering children a safe, developmentally appropriate individualized environment to learn, laugh and grow!

Program Philosophy

We aim to provide the highest-quality early care and education and innovative support to Denton ISD and our community partners’ employees and their families. To achieve this vision, we strive to nurture and celebrate every child’s potential, support parents, and respect and encourage the caregivers in our program.

Recognizing the critical importance of the first years of life in a child's development, the VGCDC strives to provide young children a planned learning program that provides developmentally appropriate educational opportunities. Our learning environment is founded on the principal that children come to us as individuals with varying abilities and unique learning styles whose families reflect varying traditions and lifestyles that deserve respect, and support. Children, their families and society benefit from high quality early childhood programs.
