Elementary Jump Start
The Jump Start program is designed to prepare students for success in the upcoming school year by “frontloading” new learning for students so that they are more likely to experience success in the coming school year. It provides additional time for intensive, focused learning, and it combats summer slide which could otherwise create significant setbacks for students. In many situations, students are able to learn with teachers at the next grade level and grow a sense of leadership and agency that will positively impact them in the coming year.
