Information & Resources for Families
-
In our pursuit of providing an exemplary education for the students of Denton ISD, we depend upon our dedicated parents, families and guardians to help our students be successful.
We encourage you to be involved in your child’s education and communicate with his or her teachers either through the school, by telephone or e-mail. You can also stay updated with district, campus and classroom information through our E-Alert system, while our Home Access Center (HAC) program allows you to check grades and attendance throughout the year.
If you’re interested in volunteering, the district has an exceptional volunteer program. The direct assistance to students and teachers through volunteers has been a hallmark of Denton ISD. All volunteers must pass a background check which can be found online at www.dentonisd.org/volunteer. For more information about volunteering or mentoring, please visit the Volunteer website or call 940-369-0146.
Our staff looks forward to working with you, as parents, to ensure the success of every student.
