Denton ISD will be hosting a Destination Imagination (DI) information night this coming Friday, Sept 21st. Come learn what Destination Imagination is all about. If your child loves solving challenges, enjoys performing, and wants to gain skills to be a team player, creative thinker and confident presenter then DI might be the program for him or her. We are currently putting new teams together for 2018-2019 season and are also looking for parent volunteers to manage teams. These teams compete at regional, state and global levels and is partly funded by Denton ISD.
When: Friday, Sept 21st, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm (Doors will be open 5:45)
Where: Central Services Board Room, 1307 N Locust St.
What: The information meeting is for parents to come learn about Destination Imagination and see what is involved in having your child(ren) be in a team. We will also talk about what is involved in being a team manager.
Who can particpate in DI: Children from K-12th grade can participate in DI. We are always looking for parent volunteers to manage teams.
