Empowering Adults. Transforming Lives.
The North Texas Adult Education & Literacy (NTAEL) program proudly serves thousands of Denton County residents through academic instruction and skills training designed to create better opportunities in life.
Our mission is to provide adult learners with high-quality education and support services that help them develop essential literacy skills, earn a high school equivalency certificate, and pursue higher education or sustainable employment. We believe education unlocks potential, and our goal is to empower learners to thrive as family members, engaged citizens, and productive workers.
As a proud department of Denton ISD, we are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our Board of Trustees, who truly value the positive impact our program brings to the community.
Adult education plays a vital role in building a skilled and educated workforce. It lays the foundation for further education, career advancement, and greater self-sufficiency. We understand that achieving your goals takes time and dedication—and we’re here for you every step of the way. With the support of your instructors, peers, and our dedicated staff, you’re never alone on this journey.
Let’s take on this challenge—together.
