Telehealth

  •

    Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to announce that Denton ISD has partnered with Children’s Health to offer school-based telehealth at seven of our campuses.  With your permission, the nurse can now use video technology to connect your child with a provider at Children’s Health if they become sick at school.

With telehealth your child can be seen by a provider, diagnosed and prescriptions sent to your pharmacy, all without leaving school (current school exclusions still apply). Some conditions that may be seen through telehealth are coughs, colds, sore throats and the flu, as well as headaches, earaches, rashes and pinkeye.

A new enrollment form is required every school year. Please visit www.childrens.com/schools to enroll today, or paper copies of enrollment forms are also available in the front office.  If you have any questions, please reach out to your campus nurse.
