• Fred Moore Day Nursery School (FMDNS) is a Denton ISD childcare development center, serving children ages 6 weeks up to 3 years old. FMDNS is open year-round and to the public. Our organization addresses the needs of low-income individuals by providing access to early childhood education with flexible sliding tuition rates.

    At Fred Moore Day Nursery School, staff are all trained in early childhood development with a child-centered curriculum and assessments and breakfast, lunch, and a snack provided for every child.

    Mission: To provide low-income families in our community with comprehensive, affordable, and well-balanced care for children 6 weeks up to 3 years old year-round. Fred Moore Day Nursery School is dedicated to helping each child develop the skills necessary for school readiness.

    Vision: To be the preferred choice for all Denton County families of economic need while maintaining our premier day nursery school status.

    Hours of operation: 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Requirements to Enroll in FMDNS

  • Child must be at least 6 weeks
    old and have up-to-date
    vaccinations with physician's
    health statement.
  • Parent or guardian must pay all
    fees required by FMDNS as well
    as 2 months income verification.
  • Complete all required
    paperwork for Fred Moore
    Day Nursery School.
  • Complete orientation with a staff
    member required by Licensing
    and Texas Rising Star.
