Teacher Impact through Payroll Deductions

If we averaged $5 a month for each staff member, that would be over $180,000 to be used for scholarships and grants.

In 2017-2018, we had 235 staff members pledge $1585 a month.

While we were not able to hold Employee Giving Information sessions in the 2019-2020  or 2020-2021 school years, the program still grew to 296 staff members pledging $1903 a month.

From the 2017-18 school year through the Spring of 2021, thanks to the generous support of the Denton ISD employees,

the Denton Public School Foundation has awarded $56,000 as Grants-to-Teachers and as Senior Scholarships to students who will be studying education in college.
