All media inquiries regarding Denton ISD and the individual campuses must go through the Communications Department. The Communications Department will facilitate access to information and interviews. Contact us.

Media includes television, radio, newspaper or magazine, including content intended for social media or from someone with an online blog, podcast or newsletter.

Members of the media should refrain from contacting Denton ISD students, teachers, staff and board members without FIRST receiving approval from our Communications/Community Relations Dept. 

Please do not visit campuses or set up on district property without prior approval.

Journalism students, whether covering the district for a class assignment or a student news outlet, should follow the same process.

As provided by the Texas Public Information Act, all public information requests must be made in writing through the Denton ISD Procedures to Obtain Information process.
