As we gear up for a great school year, I want you to know that I look forward to teaming up with each of you, as well as your parents, teachers and community members to make this your most successful and memorable year at Calhoun Middle School. I hope that you are enjoying your summer break, and also getting very excited about the coming year. Although you still have a few more weeks of summer left, there are several events planned to help prepare the upcoming year.

Denton Independent School District’s online student registration system, Power School Registration (formerly InfoSnap), will re-launch in July, for students who will be returning for the 2019-20 school year.

Families of returning students will receive an email with a secure link and “snapcode,” in July, to the email account of the primary parent/guardian as listed at their student’s campus. The link will take them directly to Power School Registration and will snap them to their student’s information, where they can complete registration. Families with more than one returning student will receive a snapcode for each student.

The entire enrollment process for returning students will be complete once parents/guardians print both pages of the Power School Registration verification form and deliver it to their child’s campus for the upcoming school year along with proof of residency (utility bill, lease, new home contract, etc.) and valid identification. Please note: your child is not enrolled until you have returned your verification form additional documents to the campus.

The entire enrollment process upcoming school year along with:
    • proof of residency
    • valid identification
    • student immunization records
    • student social security card
    • student withdrawal papers (if moving from another school district)
To expedite the time spent at the campus, parents/guardians of new students are strongly encouraged to contact the campus and make an appointment prior to submitting their documents. Please note that a Power School Registration verification form needs to be submitted for each student in the family.
