HVAC Program

    • The program can be taken for 1-2 years.
    • Students must be in the 11th or 12th grade to take these classes.
    • Classes are held at Denton High School. There is transportation available for all Denton ISD students regardless of campus.
    • Students may earn a HVAC Technician Level 1 certificate and an EPA 608 certificate.
    • Students will learn entry level skills in refrigeration, electricity, residential air conditioning, building science and EPA recovery.
    • There are opportunities for internships and jobs.
